Must read

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Concertgoers headed to the Academy Award-winning “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Live in Concert” are in for a whole new viewing — and listening — experience. Miles Morales’ first journey into the multi-verse will be accompanied by a live orchestra for the first time ever.

According to the Kings Theatre website, the orchestra performing the score is New York City’s own Broadway Sinfonietta, an orchestra consisting entirely of BIPOC women. They will also be accompanied by DJ Dwells. How awesome is that? Melding their symphonic music with the movie’s hip-hop soundtrack, consisting of Post Malone, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and more, an opportunity to watch the world premiere of this movie-concert is just a bridge away. How could that not pique your curiosity?

The concert is one night only, so be sure to grab tickets while you can. “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Live in Concert” can be seen at Kings Theatre, located at 1027 Flatbush Ave. in Brooklyn on March 17, 2023. The doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $78.10 with fees, and can be purchased on Ticketmaster. For more ticket information, click here.
